Take My hand, impetuous one, and focus on Me. Trust that I am leading you in the path you should take. When you look past Me you are missing My present direction and My present blessing. Yes, We must go into the valley, true; however We do not stay there.
Life lessons must be learned in the valleys, and the greatest blessings will not be missed when your eyes are on Me. You may feel isolated and alone, but you are planted and being nourished. Embrace your time of growth. Remember? I have plans for you….
Truly, your desire to live a risk-free life is a form of unbelief. I understand the struggle within you that pulls you toward self-preservation. However, I am training you to trust Me explicitly.
In order to follow Me, you must give up your tendency to play it safe. As long as you stay close to Me, My Presence will protect you in every circumstance. Come, dear one, and follow the Light that I have set before you.
Do not worry about what this day will bring, nor anticipate how others will respond to you. Rather, focus your attention on My Light that is directing your footsteps along the path I have chosen for you. Trust Me, and do not be afraid. Truly, I tell you that there is now no condemnation for you who are entrusting Me. I AM your strength for today, the song in your heart, and your salvation for eternity.
Will you trust Me with all you have within you.? What We can accomplish together is proportional to how much you depend on Me. Indeed, difficult times will heighten your need for Me in your life, but know that you can be lulled into a sense of self-sufficiency when circumstances do not pressure you to turn to Me.
Your goal is to consistently trust Me, giving thanks in all circumstances, so that you are always full of JOY.
Each time you acknowledge Me, you build trust in our relationship. The more you trust Me in your daily life, the easier it will be to turn to Me when you are in turmoil. Spending quiet time in My Presence is how you store up treasure in heaven, and that converts to peace in the midst of every storm.
